Looking into the third bedroom, we’re once again reminded of the house’s shabby chic appeal in the image of the Victorian style letter desk, turned clothes cabinet.

An in-focus look at the shabby chic cabinet of the third bedroom lets us appreciate the aesthetic appeal of the theme, mixed with the contemporary appeal of the bed. The march hare painting, with it’s shabby chic frame and vibrant colours, adds some interesting personality to the room.

Continuing further on, we’re welcomed in a stylishly modenresque kitchen, which, while rather on the small side, is made spacious by the large overhanging glazed roof giving the room plentiful light. As a counterpoint to the rest of the ground floor, the room features a modern island with an integrated sink, providing some much needed workspace to the otherwise small kitchen.

Planting scheme providing a lush rain forest mossy feel, where Soleirolia soleirolii, Adiantum and Pinus mugo mounds have spread amazingly. Hydrangeas, scented geraniums and campanula colour the space during Summer - Autumn, and the very mature Jasmine (pre-existing) is an absolute delight. Container planting is scattered around with annual planting for year-round interest, where a large Olive tree provides height. The large mirror with wood step blends beautifully and makes believe there's an extension to this small garden.
