Jay and Prestige renovated our house top to bottom in 2025. It was a large project over many months and has totally changed our 1930s house. We're really pleased with all aspects of the work. The contractors that Jay brought on the job were excellent and our site manager made sure the project moved along as promised with the quality we had hoped for. The finish is of a really high standard and the advice from Jay and the contractors made sure we had all of the right information to make decisions. Any unforeseen issues that came up with the existing building were dealt with and managed to make sure they didn't impact our overall vision. We're glad we chose Prestige for our job.

Prestige managed our build which included a loft conversion, bathroom which included knocking 2 rooms into one and opening up the kitchen - including repurposing a garage as a utility room. Jay and his team worked hard to keep things on schedule maintaining a high quality finish. They are a great team that were very respectful, friendly and polite with a good eye for detail. We lived in while they worked in the top, middle and bottom of the house, Jay managed the build to minimise disruption in the areas that we needed to keep in use. They were always very respectful of that, keeping the bits we were living in tidy and clear of materials. I would definitely recommend them.

Prestige completed a mansard loft conversion on our family home, a Victorian terrace in south London. This included complete new roof with a raised ridge, a new bedroom and bathroom, staircase, carpentry including fitted draws and wardrobes, eaves storage, and new doors throughout the house. We spoke to a handful of companies but we were by far most impressed with Prestige’s approach. It was important to us that we found a company who understood exactly what we were looking for in terms of quality and finish, plus would give professional project management. From the outset Jay knew exactly what we were looking for, and gave us confidence we were in safe hands. Throughout the build Prestige we’re great. Project management from Jay was excellent. Always felt like a tight ship and communication was always prompt and friendly. Jay and his wider team also gave few design recommendations and general guidance that we definitely benefitted from, examples such as the sky-lights, layout of the carpentry, and tiling. The guys on site were brilliant - very conscientious, friendly and clearly take a lot of pride in what they do. We’re completely happy with the finished job, it’s still looking fantastic. Aftercare has also been great. We feel very lucky we found a company who genuinely want the best for their clients’ projects. Thank you Prestige.

Prestige Build & Management oversaw the design and build of a large wraparound extension plus considerable other work throughout the house and garden. They were incredibly easy and fair to deal with and the quality of the work and finish is exceptional. Throughout the build Jay kept us fully up to date with progress and his communication was always excellent. Jay was consistently calm and reassuring and the build was managed very well and to time. All elements were discussed, and Jay and the team clearly take great care in what they are doing and are justifiably very proud of their work, the finish and manage their clients brilliantly. Our neighbours all commented on how hard working the team were and we are completely delighted with the result. We would highly recommend Jay and Prestige.

We recently used Prestige again to renovate one of our bathrooms, having previously used them for a rear extension and some extensive re-modelling of the ground floor a couple of years ago. Once again we are extremely happy with the results. Jay was fantastic at providing design ideas up front and helped us to decide on a layout that would get the most out of the space. He also suggested things we wouldn't have thought of ourselves, such as building out one of the walls to accommodate some niche shelving and accent lighting, which have ended up being really nice touches. Once the work began there were a few things that needed to be tweaked but the team were great at suggesting alternative solutions whenever we ran into an issue. We also added a few jobs onto the list such as fitting some new lights on the landing, all of which they were happy to do. All of the plumbers, carpenters and electricians were excellent. Their work was done to the same high standard as the first time we used them, and they were all very polite and respectful of the COVID regulations. The work was finished in good time and on budget and we are really pleased with the outcome. Thanks to Prestige for all the hard work. It's always a pleasure to work with Jay and the team and I would happily recommend them to anyone.

Prestige carried out a bathroom and bedroom renovation (which involved moving the bathroom to a different location within the space). We are really pleased with the job they have done - everything is looking really sharp. One of the best things we found with Prestige was the communication - Jay is always available and quick to respond and, even though this was a relatively small job for them, he made regular site visits. He was very calm and it was easy to talk through with him any issues that cropped up or decisions that had to be made. The rest of the team were really nice guys too - good at their jobs and very respectful about being in the house. We would recommend them!

PBM fully refurbished our warehouse conversion flat in Clerkenwell in Summer 2020. Our newly acquired property was in dire need of gutting, wall reconfiguration and transformation into a contemporary space. We got quotes from various companies and felt that PBM was not only professional, realistic and keen but understood what we wanted and was able to augment our own strong vision. The project manager spent a generous amount of time with us even before we had decided on PBM. Throughout the project PBM impressed with excellent ideas, quick solutions and design recommendations that were sympathetic to the space. All builders and contractors were extremely friendly, competent and well managed. The building site was always kept safe and clean and PBM dealt with a strict management company of our building and ensured that all workers were briefed and adhered to rules ranging from building security and Covid safety to working hour restrictions. All work was completed to a very high standard. We had walls reconfigured, a bathroom replaced, underfloor heating installed, electrics re-wired and bespoke carpentry throughout. The latter was particularly remarkable as it maximises the nooks and crannies that were uncovered during the works and we are now enjoying its precision and style. The overall result is a contemporary, functional and well-proportioned space that impresses by detailed solutions, yet lets the structure and core of the industrial building speak for itself.

Prestige converted our loft and we’re delighted with the result. From beginning to end we have been delighted by the service provided by Jay and the team who have worked tirelessly to complete the job. The quality of the workmanship is high, and the finish is excellent. We had the same group of workmen throughout the project which I personally found reassuring, and they were very respectful of our home throughout. Prestige wasn’t the cheapest quote we had, but were pleased we spent the extra on this build.

We engaged Jay and his team to complete a ground floor extension to our property, creating a new bigger kitchen and utility space, downstairs WC and bike storage area. In order to do this the team also had to demolish part of an existing extension, which had been poorly constructed. The project had a number of unforeseen challenges including: issues with the accuracy of architectural drawings (produced by another agency); the discovery of a Class II sewer, requiring a build-over agreement; and the unearthing of large quantities of concrete in unusual places, which hampered the excavation process. Prestige worked positively with us to address all of these challenges. We have been particularly impressed with: > The quality of the workmanship, which was extremely high. > The support that Prestige provided to ensure that we were able to continue to live in the property during the building process; this included planning the work in a way that enabled us to retain a temporary kitchen for as long as we needed it. > A fast and supportive response from Jay whenever a significant problem arose. > Two great site managers in Kris and Sylvester. We were also impressed with the very high levels of professionalism displayed by almost all the individuals on-site. Jay was very responsive to any concerns that we raised and it is clear that he has high expectations of how he expects his teams to conduct themselves, and will take action to ensure any minor issues are addressed. Overall, we are extremely happy with the end result, and would not hesitate to recommend Prestige Build to others.

Jay and his team have recently finished a renovation project on what was my one bedroom, rather unloved Victorian ground floor garden flat and is now a fantastic fully refurbished two bedroom flat with open plan kitchen/ diner side return extension and lovely outdoor terrace. I had five interested builders when I started the process and after narrowing it down to two quotes, my final decision was based on who I thought I could work with for the duration of the build. Jay’s initial quote was not the cheapest (but also not most expensive) but what I got in exchange was someone who I could completely trust to solve all challenges that arose and kept calm and friendly throughout what was quite a tricky build. Jay also has an eye for design and alongside a clever suggestion for hanging lights over the kitchen peninsula that sat underneath Velux windows, he also very diplomatically helped me to redesign my bathroom layout for which I am now extremely thankful! It was a pleasure working with Jay and his always friendly and respectful team. I have loved moving back in and am very happy with the outcome of the build and the fact he has followed through with the snagging. I have already recommended him to friends.

If you truly want a bespoke extension Prestige Build will deliver. The build itself was pain free, the builders respectful and friendly as well as being highly skilled. The end result is a massive lift extension which maximises every square inch of our space. While neighbours with similar houses have one room and en-suite we have massive main room that can be divided into a living space and double bedroom, a small bathroom, complete with bath and a separate small double bedroom/office. Not only this the finishing details are exquisite.

We used Prestige for a loft and kitchen side-return extension. We chose them because they had a good local reputation; the quality of other projects completed; and because we liked the way that the quote was broken down to the last plug socket, which meant we could budget and limit spurious price increases. In the end, we did end up spending more that we originally agreed, but this was mostly due to us opting to upgrade windows etc; some was down to unexpected extra work on structural things once the build revealed the state of existing foundations and walls. Anything different or extra was always discussed and agreed with us before any work took place. We had a few issues which meant the project took longer than it had been due to, but Prestige dealt with this fairly and professionally. The guys were always friendly, considerate and hardworking, which makes a big difference when they're in your space for a long time. For such a big project, I wanted to be confident that we were engaging professional and competent tradesmen and I have been very happy with the quality of the work and the finish. I also wanted the reassurance that should anything go wrong (as things do) that they were going to deal with it promptly and properly. We recently had an issue with the roof and within a very short time of me letting Jay know, one of the guys came round and the whole thing was fixed less than a week later. This is exactly the sort of service you want when it comes to your home! I think Prestige quotes will likely come in more expensive than others, but (1) the quote is likely to be more comprehensive upfront that others' ballpark numbers and (2) having seen what friends have gone through with cowboys and comparing it to our experience, I think you do get what you pay for.

Prestige completed a new build for us. They finished the work to an incredibly high standard and at a very reasonable price. They took on tasks and finishes they hadn’t undertaken before, and persevered to get all of the intricate architectural detail right. They also came and repaired defects after the warranty period. They committed to deliver a very high standard on our project and they followed through.

A local friend recommended Prestige Build to us. They showed me the work that had been had done on their house and I was really impressed! We had several quotes as funding was an issue, but Prestige seemed very reasonable and prepared to have detailed discussions about how to achieve what we wanted within our budget. I wanted a very simple loft conversion to use as an art studio; basically opening up the whole loft with no walls, just a dormer to give me some head height. But Jay spent a lot of time talking me through different design options. He suggested extending the dormer, having windows right across the back and putting in a shower and toilet. We went ahead with his ideas and he was absolutely right. The views across London from the windows are fantastic and the shower room has been a boon when friends have stayed up there. It is such an improvement on my original plans. (Thank you Jay.) The builders were great. Tidy, quiet and friendly and their work was always of a high standard. They were considerate and had almost no impact on our use of the house while the work was going on. I love the results and enjoy being in the space! I valued the involvement and experience of Jay and would highly recommend Prestige Build.

We chose Prestige Build to complete our side return from about 3 or 4 tenders. Before we had committed to go forward with Prestige, Jay had already shown us a few of his projects in the local areas to show us both the the quality of the work and also a few of the additional design ideas that the client had not considered. He also introduced us the build team site manager. After this, we committed and this is where it went wrong for us but Prestige responded well and stepped up as we hoped they would. The house had been underpinned and we had to remove all the reinforced concrete before we could properly start. We then found the Thames water pipe in the wrong garden ( i.e. Our one and not the neighbours according to the TW plans). This nullified our original plans and now the engineer had to change our original structural designs. The foundations were dug to 2m and instead of a complicated cantilever, the build team suggested a box frame which would do the same thing, in a faster and more cost effective manner. Problems solved for now! Narrow corridors and big heavy RSJ problems were swept aside in an easy way. They made sure they held our hand through out the process, helping calm our nerves and make decisions (Such as picking plug sockets and light in advance rather than being surprised at the end). They kept us informed on time and costs. Our Kitchen was supplied by an outside supplier and they made sure that each measurement was exact to their requirements and so when the kitchen was delivered the fitter could fit it exactly. The bifold door supplier had issues so Jay found an alternate supper and drove outside of London to check the quality. Jay is prepared to counter the clients original wants as we have only done this once where he has more experience. We visited two floor specialists to discuss inside and outside paving. My Wife wanted a rubber floor to protect the baby when they were playing and fair play to Jay he said he wouldn't fit it. He then calmly explained about what do you in a play ground? My wife changed her mind and I now have a stone floor that still looks great years later. The thing I love is that the inside and outside tiles are exactly in alignment making the space look larger. The attention to detail is the thing that changes a good build into a great build. We,as clients, don't see the concrete, the bricks, the pipes - the hidden work. We see the last 10%-15% that is visible and that is where Jay and his team made sure that it looks great. I would highly recommend them.

Jay and his team did my loft about three years ago. Really happy with the design, quality of work and his people. Also have been a few minor issues since and they have always been super helpful and prompt in coming by to help fix. The one reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that the end of the build was a bit frustrating as the decoration took much longer than planned as there was only one decorator available so the schedule dragged on longer than we would have all wanted. But super happy with end result after loving with it for theee years.

We were lucky enough to pick Prestige Build for the loft conversion of our Victorian terraced SE London home. A loft conversion was the initial idea, but once we could see the quality of the work that was being done we were happy to throw much more work their way. The ceiling was raised and the chimney breast removed in our pokey back room, completely transforming it. Two new bright rooms have appeared at the top of the house (with an excellent shower in the loft en suite thanks to them upgrading the external water supply connection and pipe). The house has been rewired so I now have ample plug sockets and network ports in all rooms. And the whole house was painted inside and out. What I've really appreciated since is how seamlessly the loft has been integrated with the rest of the house. For example, a lot of care was taken with the bannisters to ensure the same design snakes from the bottom to the top. For me, the house looks and feels as though this is the way it has always been.

Prestige managed and carried out a loft conversion on our Victorian semi. It was a complicated process due to the ceilings on the first floor having to be lowered in order to get a good amount of headroom in the loft. Prestige were excellent throughout, reassuring and efficient as we were definitely worried about the loss of ceiling height. The final results are fantastic, and we have 2 lovely new bedrooms and a bathroom. The team were always punctual, clean and very friendly. They worked very hard through a bitterly cold Spring with heavy snows. As in builds of this magnitude there were unforeseen issues but these were dealt with swiftly and with utmost consideration. Many thanks again to Jay, Kris, Blazej and the whole team for providing such a fantastic service.

We used Prestige to design and build a side return extension and remove some chimney breasts on the first floor of our house. The standard of work was very high and we are so pleased with the result. We would use them again. Prestige did everything from provide us with an architect right through to build and decorate. We had a clear idea of what we wanted to do, which wasn’t the ‘standard’ side return, and they were really happy to work with our ideas and help us achieve what we wanted. They guided us through what would and wouldn’t work and also gave us different options and ways of moving forward, as well as ideas we hadn’t thought of, with all costs made clear. The builders were extremely friendly and polite and also kept the shared areas with our neighbours very tidy. They would also do their best to arrange meetings round my working hours when we needed to discuss something on the site. The finished space is amazing, such a brilliant family area combining kitchen and dining with a living/play room, we pretty much live in the new bit and hardly use the rest of the house. We love it.

Hi - We used Prestige Build and Management in 2017 to build our double rear extension. This job was complicated due to the differing ground levels that had to be incorporated. Jay and his team of workmen did an excellent job from start to finish. Jay provided excellent design ideas including a lantern roof and controlled his team closely. The final product is wonderful with a high quality finish. I have used Prestige Build and Management for a number of jobs in my house, both large and small including a new roof, a new wetroom and a new laundry room and the workmanship is of a very high quality regardless of the job size. I feel very lucky to have found a builder that I can always rely on to do a great job at the price agreed.

In August 2017 PBM fitted a new bathroom & kitchen into a property in Dulwich. This work also included renovation of our lounge and other parts of the house, such as electrics, plumbing, bespoke carpentry and decoration. The work also included replacing the floor structure and foundations in the kitchen as after investigation we discovered it was compromised by damp - PBM also recommended and offered solutions to improve the ventilation throughout the area so as to prevent future issues (something the damp-proofing company we'd use before failed to offer) - we were impressed with the professionalism & quality of the work. We subsequently commissioned PBM to work on restructuring the first floor of our new home in Blackheath in January 2018, adding an ensuite bathroom to the master bedroom, bespoke wardrobe, walk-in wardrobes & general renovation of a number of other areas of the house including a second and third bathroom, electrics, plumbing, floor sanding/redecoration of the house. Again, the quality of the work is of a very high standard & we are delighted with the results. PBM like to do things properly, they are not the cheapest option but we have learnt from experience when it comes to house projects it’s better to pay more for quality work and project management...

Since our first highly successful kitchen extension we’ve had Prestige Build and Management back a few times to our property to continue developing it. All designs tasks, features and options no matter how small are thought through in a really smart and highly experienced way. They have excellent project management and attention to detail.

We used Prestige to build a rear extension and remodel the entire ground floor of the house, and we are very happy with results. We met with Jay and were impressed from the get go. He was very knowledgeable and offered some great design suggestions and also talked us out of several things that in hindsight would have been big mistakes. The quote wasn't the cheapest, but you definitely get what you pay for. Jay's team are fantastic guys, all experts in their own areas and the quality of their work is excellent. The project has not been without issues, but that is always the case with this type of work and Jay and team were always quick to find solutions and solve problems. The attention to detail has been amazing, and this is evident in the quality of the finish. The house is completely transformed and we are extremely pleased with the way it turned out. I would definitely use them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone else.

Prestige Build did a full renovation of my Victorian terrace house, including a loft conversion and side return extension. They were very professional and responsive throughout the project. The quality of their work was excellent. Compared to other, similar work on the street the finish is clearly outstanding. They were also willing to adapt to changes in plans during the build. Overall I would strongly recommend Prestige.

Trouble-free major renovation and extension. Our major renovation and extension by Prestige went without a hitch, based I believe on the company's clear and detailed proposal and good communication and project management throughout. Its detailed costings allowed any changes necessitated by what was found in the demolition phase or where we changed our spec in the course of the project to be readily identifiable, documented and re-costed. The company and its employees were invested in the work, working well with the architect and often making useful suggestions on details.

I've now had the pleasure of using Prestige Build & Management twice. They are the only company I trusted with my full flat renovation which required the works; all new electrics, gas supply, flooring, internal restructuring, underfloor heating, bathroom renovations, kitchen re-do and decoration throughout. Everything was completed on time to a premium standard. I have quite quirky taste but the team really came on board with my vision, offering innovative solutions to improve the design. I also loved how precise they are with all measurements to ensure symmetry and balance, making the space the envy of all my friends! Prestige built a very high quality bathroom for us. The standard of work was exceptional, the builders were reliable - turned up exactly when they said they would, were respectful, tidy and didn’t stop until the job was completed. Project management staff were always available to answer questions and discuss options. This is not the cheapest option but you really get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

Very happy with the finished result of Prestige's work on my outhouse/studio. It was nearly a year long project involving a complete new pitched, slated roof, 4 flat roofs to main building, insulating all the walls, new windows and doors, new shower room/toilet, new central heating system and new wooden floor. This new area is light and bright and a pleasure to be in.

I am really happy with the quality of work and level of service provided by Prestige Build and Management. I had various work done in my flat - structural work to fix a crack, installation of an extractor fan, maintenance and repair to outside window sills and more. From the outset the type/amount of work needed, the costs and time frame were clearly communicated. The team were friendly, professional, had good time keeping and communicative throughout the work. I would highly recommend the company and I will be using Prestige Build and Management for future work I plan to have done.

Prestige build and management undertook a complete renovation of our Victorian house in Plumstead last year. We found every member of the team a pleasure to work with. The quality of each of the trades - tiling, electrics, plumbing and building was excellent. The team were interested in achieving the aesthetic we wanted and advised us on some of our slightly naive ideas and material choices to deliver what we wanted. The whole team were clean, efficient trustworthy and personable. The office team were also really efficient and helpful to deal with. They were willing to work with us when we had cash flow issues with the bank which, on a major project, is invaluable for any home owner. We also had significant regulatory issues with a basement conversion and Jay and his team persevered to get the project completed despite the obstacles. I would say that price wise they are on the upper end of the spectrum but you get the quality and service you pay for and for us it was worth every penny.
