From the very beginning, Andy and Aud were absolutely brilliant. We didn't really know exactly what we wanted from our extension, it's only taken us 20 years of debating and procrastinating between my husband and I and finally we found Andy and Aud who listened to our endless chatter about putting together an extension plan. They took all of the pressure off us and guided us through the process with patience and expertise. Their attention to detail was outstanding, and they identified things we would never have thought about ourselves. We went through several design iterations, and they worked closely with us until we arrived at a solution that was not only beautiful but also practical and perfectly suited to the way we live. Our son loves his new bedroom, which wasn't in our initial plans and my kitchen is my dream, my husband got his 'man cave' and our daughter is living her best life inviting her friends round for dinner, drinks and fun. The quality of the design work was exceptional, and when it came to the build, everything was so well thought through that the builders had no issues with any aspect of the plans. That made the whole process run much more smoothly and gave us real confidence that we were in safe hands. We are absolutely delighted with the end result and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for architects who combine creativity, technical expertise and a genuine commitment to getting things right.

Right from the first meeting Andy and Audrey listened to what my requirements were, and produced plans in line with them - with lots of good ideas and options too. I am so happy we used Highline Architecture for our kitchen renovation last year. We wanted an open plan kitchen / living area, where we could spend time as a family and occasionally entertain friends, and HA have helped us achieve this. Andy and Audrey are absolutely amazing and we cannot recommend them enough. When we got in contact with them we were in the process of buying a semi detached house that we wanted to completely re-model, adding a two storey extension and loft conversion. We had rung around a couple of architects and got a very “we have off the shelf designs that will work here” vibe. As soon as we spoke to Andy we knew we would be using Highline. Andy’s approach was so different to the other companies we had spoken to, he wanted to design something that worked specifically for us. He asked loads of questions to make sure he really understood what we needed from the house. When we were looking at drawings Andy has produced iteration after iteration of drawings, allowing us to arrive at the very specific final layout that maximised the space for us and our lifestyle. We were particularly delighted that Andy managed to find a design that included feature spaces from our inspiration board such as a book nook, even though they didn’t initially look possible. Andy didn’t stop until we had a design we really loved. Another great thing about working with Andy and Audrey was the excellent advice they gave us. After talking to them at length about how we planned to use the various rooms they helped us identify things that we thought we wanted but would end up being redundant. This in-depth consultation process helped us optimise the design and save money in the build. We can’t wait to finish our build and we know we couldn’t have done it without Andy and Audrey. They are amazing architects; you won’t be disappointed.

Highline were recommended to us from a friend who was also using their services , The initial meetings were to really understand what we wanted to achieve , what we liked and didn't like etc . The initial ideas were drawn up and we could see first hand some of these ideas in their own home ,which really helped bring a plan to life . They suggested some radical structural changes that we hadn't considered and we are so glad they did as the results are amazing . Andy and Audrey's approach is to really get to know their clients and understand them , they are super creative and very supportive throughout the project , always on hand for advice and help with decision making , With their help and advice we have transformed a tired 1970's house into our dream house which has exceeded all our expectations and simply blown us away !! thank you Andy and Audrey .

Andy and Aud, the couple behind Highline Architecture, have been fantastic from the start to the finish of our project; initially in generating imaginative ideas to maximise the use of available space, then in drawing up detailed proposals from which we made our decisions. They then led us through the planning process, sourced a structural engineer and a great builder, and helped us with in-depth technical information and advice whenever we requested it as the build progressed. They were also a shoulder to lean on during some of the more difficult C-19 times, when timelines were badly affected by supply chain issues. We could not recommend them more highly.

I couldn’t recommend Andy and Aud more highly. From the inception of our project through to completion they helped us design and build a complete reconfiguration and extension of our house (3 bed 1970s Dormer). They took the time to make sure we understood what would work for our lifestyle and how the house would flow, providing solutions/options for us to make informed decisions throughout the process. Their expert knowledge and vision helped alleviate a lot of stress from our renovation and resulted in us being completely satisfied with the result.

Really can’t praise Andy and his team highly enough for all the work they did in planning / designing the property for us. Nothing was too much trouble and Andy was so approachable. Have never used an architect before but Andy took the stress out of it all and his input was invaluable. He came up with some brilliant ideas that really worked for what we were trying to do. Highline Architecture Ltd were recommended to us and we knew immediately we had found the right people to work with us as soon as we met them. Andy's energy and passion about the projects he works on is contagious and he brought a completely fresh approach to the ideas we originally had in mind. His experience and knowledge about our local area, what works well within a space and his innovative approach has given us so much more than we had originally envisaged we could achieve. The patience both he and Aud showed during the design and planning stages is commendable (we thought he was kidding that you could end up at v13 of a plan!!). Andy went far and above what we expected from an architect and his commitment and attention to detail was invaluable, especially with regards to a particularly tricky 'planning issue' thrown at us. Aud and Andy are a great team - knowing that Aud would be available and respond promptly to any queries (and there were many) put our minds at ease. We are thoroughly looking forwards to the next stage of project 'The Build' - we have selected one of the builders recommended by Highline (an added bonus knowing that they have access to an extended network of local and national people they have worked with) - we have complete confidence that they will be with us through the build and look forward to showing them the outcome of their hard work (hopefully with a few G&T's and discussions about US destinations to visit).

Andy was one of a number of architects we invited to quote on our project to reorganise the ground floor of our house including an extension to the rear. Upon meeting him my wife and I both felt that he was the right architect for our project. He is a local man with the knowledge and experience that we needed. Wow ! did he deliver. He was patient with us as we deliberated over various aspects of the project and gave invaluable advice and support in arriving at our final plan. I naively thought that was the end of his involvement. No way! He maintained close contact with us throughout the building work and liaised with the builders to keep them focused on delivering according to the plans. He gave us advice regarding our new kitchen and referred us to a company that we subsequently employed to deliver and fit the kitchen .We are very happy with the outcome. He also referred us to a supplier of porcelain floor tiles. We used this firm. The result was top quality floor tiles at a very reasonable price. Andy also advised us regarding underfloor heating which we installed using the suppliers he recommended. Andy went above and beyond our expectations with regard to architectural services and my wife and I will be forever indebted to him for delivering a home that has transformed our domestic comfort and lifestyle. We also had a lot of contact with Andy's wife , Audrey , who liaised with us about various aspects of the project. They are a great team and made us feel special.
