I am absolutely thrilled with the tiling work Robin Services Ltd. did for us in the kitchen and all three toilets. The quality is genuinely flawless—every single tile is perfectly placed, and the finished edges look fantastic. On top of delivering such high-end results, the team was incredibly efficient and actually finished the entire job quicker than the time they first estimated! Robin Services undertook a full architect-designed refurbishment of our 3 storey house- including a small extension and a substantial remodelling of the ground floor. The house was completely rewired, new heating system, flooring and bathrooms were installed. They also relandscaped our back garden. They were brilliant to work with throughout, the team were all incredibly hard working and had great attention to detail - all the way through from initial response to tender to the end of snagging. The project was well managed to time and to budget - cost implications of changes were minimal and well explained. Robin Services had a great professional relationship with our architect (Tina Patel, Formed Architects) and their communication ensured the project progressed smoothly Everyone took great pride in their work- and the end result is stunning. Their dedication and communication throughout was great - I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and their work.

Our building project consisted of a ground floor extension to provide an expanded kitchen and lounge, conversion of an integral garage to provide internal living accommodation and (as it turned out) refurbishment of the bathroom. Allied to this was a revamp of the heating system to include new boiler and updated plumbing. A new patio and fencing was also installed. Robin Services were engaged by us to carry out the work having seen examples of their previous work. Thanks to the experience of Robin Services in this form of construction we were able to live in the house during the duration of the project (6 months). They worked around our needs and provided invaluable ongoing advice on many aspects of the build. As we were relatively inexperienced with a project of this size, we found this very helpful and reassuring. Our overall experience of Robin Services is a company which will go the extra mile to ensure efficient completion of the works. Having discovered during the project that a complete bathroom refurbishment was necessary, they were imaginative and proactive in planning and designing the new bathroom. The workmanship was of a very high standard, and any remedial work was swiftly attended to. The team were friendly, communicative and nothing was too much trouble. Would happily recommend Andrzej, Stasek and the team at RS if anyone is contemplating a similar project.

We have worked with Robin Services as contractors on an architect-designed full refurbishment and extension (ground floor and loft) of our Hertfordshire home which has just completed. After running a tender process, we chose RS based on their credentials, thorough and detailed response to the tender documents and useful input on value engineering to keep a ceiling on project costs. Throughout the project - which has involved a few challenges, such as difficult neighbours to one side, adverse weather and structural ‘surprises’ of the property, (originally built in the 1940s) - we have been consistently impressed by the hardworking RS team and their subcontractors (electrician, plumber, carpenter). They have shown an eye, and a passion, for detail on internal works such as unusual tiling patterns and built-in furniture, but also on the external works and finishes, like a fibreglass flat roof with skylights. Regular site meetings and prompt team updates ensured that we were in the loop on progress and any issues at all times. Even during the messiest and dustiest phases of the build, the site was kept as tidy as possible, and generally speaking, nothing was ever ‘too difficult’. I have no hesitation to recommend Andrzej, Robert and their dedicated team for projects of this type – this is the level of service and quality of project delivery that construction firms should be striving for.

Never ever use this Company, that's my advice. I sought quote for renovating my bathroom with this company in late January/early February 2017 and having liaised with the owner, I agreed to have the work done. I ordered all the relevant materials as agreed, in advance of the work commencing. I met the manager appointed by the owner as well as the builder - a week in advance of the start date(the day after the early May Bank Holiday 2017) , where I made very clear what I wanted(in line with the agreed quoted designs etc), all within building regulations. Nothing fundamentally was changing - the positioning of the toilet, sink/wash basin and bath would remain in the same place - the major addition being a heated towel rail. On the first day, I showed the manager and builder where to shut off the water etc, and specifically asked if they had any more questions. None they replied. Then I get an urgent phone call a couple of hours later asking where the water is to be shut off and that it was leaking etc. This is before the builder managed to shut off the water supply that serves other properties nearby by shutting off the external water supply. The neighbours were unsurprisingly not impressed. Anyway, the building work started and moved slowly and I began to get progress updates from the builder via the manager. In a nutshell, the work was completed much later than agreed; I had a long snagging list where, due to my pressing the manager, some items were remedied be it many weeks later on. However, a couple of items still remain unresolved to this day. All the above issues were due to poor workmanship - nothing to do with the high quality products I bought. I should also mention that the taps to both the bath and wash basins were fitted on wrongly - hot on the right and cold on the left as you face them - apparently this is okay, says the manager. I pointed to the UK household norm and the manager eventually agreed. The new door to the bathroom which I paid a few hundred pounds was incorrectly positioned and kept scraping the floor - it took four visits to remedy this by sawing off the door and replacing the hinges - the manager was still in denial and said it wasn't poor workmanship but poor product, which he incidentally purchased himself. What also compounded matters was the builder helped himself to my food and drinks without permission and also stayed in the property overnight on the sofa(with my duvet) without my permission, as I found out to my horror early one morning when I went to the property to pick up some items and see a progress check. My hot water switch in airing cupboard and front door lock was damaged unnecessarily - be it later replaced. The location of the heated towel rail and isolation switch to the shower remain an issue. Also when you consider the extra money I paid to have the floor to the bathroom re-laid/reinforced, the general work has not been great. Given the quantum of wall and floor tiles I bought (well in excess of the bathroom area), I expected to be able to take some of the tile packs back to the retailer for refund(which they agreed), but these appear to have been removed from my property - and rather inconveniently the builder was fired from the company in the immediate aftermath of my job, so I was unable to get any answers as to where my missing tiles were. I am talking about at least a dozen packs of tiles that should have been left over at a conservative estimate, this is even after fully taking into account tiles being needed to be cut to fit all types of spaces in the bathroom floor and walls. The shocking thing is that this Company is FMB registered and when I asked the FMB to detail what procedures they had in place to ensure that FMB accredited companies maintained FMB high standards, in terms of work quality and behaviours. They have failed to respond to my query of 5 months. The Owner has also refused to engage in dialogue to remedy the issues. Invoice for the work was settled in full previously.

We recently had the pleasure of working on a project alongside Andrew and his team from Robin Services. As the customer had engaged us very early on in the build process, we had the opportunity to see the ongoing build of the large rear extension and loft conversion at various stages of the project. It was clear that the workmanship, professionalism and overall attitude of the whole team was second to none and the overall work and finishing was of a very high standard. We look forward to working with Robin Services again on any future projects.

Robin services had undertaken our loft extension project on a 3 bed roomed terraced house to include a 4 bedroom and a shower room bathroom. We had many sagging issues which we highlighted both via email, whatsapp messages, as well as walking through with the project manager since the project was completed. We had paid Robin Services in full all the invoices, however it's nearly a year and despite many courteous requests to fix all the sagging issues, as clients we are extremely disappointed on Robin Services failure to keep their commitments to fix all the sagging issues that still remain outstanding. I regretfully put this review as an honest review of Robin Services.

Robin Services have done handyman style in our home for around 7 years. Originally we lived there and were always happy with the finish. We have since moved to another part of the country but the tenants always seem happy enough with the work, when we need to call Andrew in.

Excellent service , reliable , friendly , efficient and good value. Arrived on time , worked hard to complete job in good time , good attention to detail , clean and tidy.
