Back Yard Ideas

I am looking for some ideas for my back yard, it's very small having just had the kitchen extended into it, I am looking for some nice neat ideas for it. My creativity ends at new pebbles for the floor and a lick of paint for the walls.

Would welcome any ideas :)

Hello,
Well when we extended into our garden, we had about 10' left - of which 3'4 was taken up with sheds running along the back wall.
We decked the whole remaining space and added fake full size mirrors onto the facing sheds to make the garden look bigger.

Have you got a photo of yours? What look do u want? Ie contemporary, country, etc

kitchen splash back ideas

If you did do tiles - which would look great - say chevron style if you like these - and do a darker grout - behind the cooker does get splattered, so the darker grout would not show - the tile area needs to cover right up to the top of the kitchen cupboards and round the cooker hood. It is strange how years ago everyone stuck a piece of stainless steel there - they are a nightmare to clean, and admittedly look out of place.

I wondered if moving the stairs, from the kitchen to the utility, to the centre would allow some flexibility. If you can also raise the roof of the utility in the centre, ir have rooflights, I wonder if this would give you a clear sight of the garden. difficult to tell if ceiling heights are sufficient from the plans. Opening up the two walls will not be exactly low cost, and the other modifications but maybe the conservatory could be renovated at a later date.
