I'm not sure what's with that brown cabinet... any chance you could move it above the sink? It looks strange the way is hung at the moment... isn't there a cupboard underneath it? Anyway, you can place a small shelf or a rail above the sink.
Ok... maybe fix another shelf above the glasses then.
I had a look at your other thread, about the table and chairs. Can I rearrange your furniture all together? Just give half an hour please, I'll be back.
Right, when needed, my cheap graphic app decides not to work.
I'll try and explain it to you. First, let's work with what you have at the moment. I'd move the microwave on a shelf on top of the sink, on the fridge or thereabouts. Not sure where a plug is, but you must have one on that wall. In this way, you keep the kitchen stuff in that area. Your Tv looks like it could go on the shelf where the microwave is now; if not, you could either buy a low stand or have it hanging up on the wall. You can then add more shelves around it, something like in the pic below.
The wall where your desk is at the moment can also take some narrow cabinets or shelving. Again, I'd use walls and the height of the room to get the extra space, leaving the floor not too busy; if you get some narrow cabinets or shelves, you can achieve a great look.
Or, have the TV on the wall with the desk, move the sofa in front of it and get the round dining table at the other end of the room.
I hope it makes sense. I'd suggest you post a dilemma on the Aussie site as well (there's a button where you can change countries); peeps there may give you links to shops closer to where you live :))
