If you intend to leave the set out in wet weather consider the frame. Aluminium is best as it does not rust or leave rust marked on the patio/deck. I have a corner sofa made from steel and that leaves rust marks over a period of time, however I got it at a very good price. I also purchased a dining table about 6 years ago which is aluminium and it still looks as good as new.
