We've a handmade product that isn't too disimilar to this called london weathered yellow - It's a slightly more textured finished however the feartured colours are relatively close to that of the above. Hi Sarah It sounds like your plumber is either incapable of doing the job you are paying him to do, or he simply doesn't care or take pride in his work. I doubt that if you allow him to continue that you will be happy with the end result. Bathroom refits are not cheap, cut your losses now and find someone who you can trust to do the job well.

I feel, if you were to choose any white for the walls, my first thought is that there are too many "whites" in the equation, which I'd hazard a guess they will all be very different and if that is the case, at best at least one will look dirty/grey/yellow/cream against the others and at worst it will look like a poor attempt (and failing) at matching. I would be inclined to ditch the idea of bright white or similar and perhaps lean a little towards something with a pinkish tone, because northern light is very blue and can make things feel a lot cooler, even if you do get some good light. You can still get a whitish colour, but I think a pinker hue will compliment the grey, make the white seem brighter and warm up the room. You could still have the bright white on the ceiling, but having a white close the cabinets and worktop may look just wrong.
