Hello Rudolfdzin, That's quite a place!!!... I would suggest a light tile yes...Stone or something similar.. Mandarine Stone is a good place to look... I also think that you could have a large mirror in that adjoining area with all the chairs... I would also consider looking at the furnishings and possibly update to compliment the look of the house...I would move the rug from that adjoining room and place it somewhere else... I have attached a few things that would be amazing in your place... : ))

Yep there is. Little Greene have just bought out a new colour card and small brochure called Stone. This is because (bear with me on this), I'm not a slave to fashion. quite the opposite, but I predict that in a couple of years time, we will look back on the battleship grey phase in the same way we look back on the avocado bathroom suite phase. Greys are beautiful if they are nuanced and have a tinge of colour, but grey all over just because it's fashionable is not a good fit for many interiors, particularly light starved ones. The new range for Little Greene is brilliant because it appears to present them in terms of perceived temperature first. It suggests a colour, then gives related whites, neutrals, coordinating and contrasting colours. In terms of 'whites' I would never use pure white on a trim or skirting, rather I would use a related white. For example, for a pinky hued taupe colour, such as Oxford Stone, which can look warm and slightly pink, a pure white would look cold next to it, but a related white would look harmonious. If everything is painted in related colours then it can look like a 'White' room on a sunny afternoon, if that makes sense. My personal preference for neutrals is red based ones because I find yellow based ones can look a bit dirty in light starved spaces, and can look a bit bleak with LED lights which do no favours fo any colours. Hope this has not made things worse.

Minnie101 I love all these ideas.. I’m trying to work with the room. as you walk into the room, the shower area isn’t visible, it’s behind the door. It’s like an unexpected surprise as it’s built over the stair. What is visible will be the wall with all the bathroom fittings on. Ive gone over ideas of having the floor under the bath and to the opposite wall the same colour as the wall behind it.. when I was going for Showerwall panel. Doing this in these tiles is certainly an option... then maybe the rest of the floor in the light terracotta. I could do with it all pu on an app to see it.

Botament Sand Grey no. 15 looks good with both taupe and grey tiles. It’s neither too cool or too warm. It may work with white tiles. If you end up using it, please post a pic as I plan to try it out with white tiles in not too distant future!
