What colour footstool?

Am thinking a nice deep teal colour. I don't really want everything to match and like a bit of colour to lift things. Opinions welcome.

Thanks!

I think a teal blue would fit in beautifully, there's just a touch of blue in the rug so I think it would highlight it.

I 'd go for a shade of blue just to highlight the blue shades in the rug. Using a red/yellow may blend in too much with the rug but the blue will offer a nice contrast

I think teal would be lovely as well - where is the rug from? I've been looking for one like that for months! Thanks :)

Thanks all. I am torn now as I love that tan leather one. Also like the footstools at Loaf in their teal colour: http://loaf.com/products/wet-dog-footstool?size=rectangular-footstool&colour=teal-brushed-cotton&qty=1

I bought the rug second hand (I had it dry cleaned don't worry). But I happen to know the previous owners purchased from John Lewis about two years ago.

    Hi Cat S
I would go for the tan leather. It's a great colour to match your scheme.. the style of design matches well and the added texture will work fabulously!!
    Good luck, Gina

I lke both the Teal and the leather idea, but i'd go for mustard material or leather to tie in with the existing rug.

Hi there - i love how you have arranged your room and think a footstool would perfectly complement it.

How about the Vibieffe Four Six Square Footstool/Ottoman

it can be chosen in Teal, or a huge range of other colours, in a variety of fabrics or even leather. Designed by the highly regarded Niko Gottsche for luxury Italian furniture company Vibieffe, this footstool is not as expensive as you would think, with a starting price of just £310.

If this doesn't work for you why not check out Go Moderns full range of footstools, which includes everything from classic pieces, to modern works of art for your feet !!

Hi Cat. I think the tan leather really complements the style of the rug and the colours in the room. Why not go for the loaf stool in their walnut leather which looks very much like tan on my screen?

Thanks for all the suggestions. I finally got this leather number from loaf last week. Pleased with it. Happy Easter!

Looks great, perfect for resting weary legs ! :) PS - And i love the 2 chairs in your square bay window, a great use of the space, they match your colours perfectly and they look really comfortable. You've given me a good idea for my bay window at home! Thanks. Caroline
