look for a poor person who deserves it, where they have struggled in life ,just to make ends meet for there family,

helping the needy (disabled person )

I would gift it to someone with a commercial space so that many people could enjoy it. Doing it for a single family ties up a resource that only a select few could enjoy; think less golf course and more national park.

I'd gift it to a work colleague of mine who deserves it as she has a heart of gold and unfortunately has hit hard times but despite that has helped me immensely recently

My sister, who is a single parent with four boys, works full time and lives in a house that needs so much work! She just puts all her energies into her boys and job (is a nurse) and sometimes I think she has her priorities right, but the boys are growing fast and all the little things she has in boxes for the rooms she dreamt they would have they have now outgrown. I feel sad sometimes she has not seen her dreams of a lovely home realised. But still the boys are an absolute credit to her.

I'm already doing it, my niece has recently bought her first flat. I'm helping her with the decorating, including teaching her how to wallpaper. Also finding her bits of furniture, mirrors, lighting, etc. so that she can make the home she wants on a budget.

I would gift a renovation to a genuine needy young Mum with Children, or not so young. One who is trying to make ends meet and has little left for any improvement. Someone who would be recommended by an official charity or social services.

I would gift it to my son who is buying his first house. It is a late victorian two-up two-down that needs to be gutted and refurbished. It has a small north-east facing backyard. All his money is going into the purchase and he will be trying to do work to the house in his free time as he goes along. He works so hard in his day job and gets so stressed I would love to lift his spirits and help him make his new home into his dream home (ish). Even guidance into knowing where to start and what to prioritise would be helpful. It is a red-brick with rising damp, woodworm, no heating, needs rewiring, new windows, new bathroom, new kitchen....

A friend who just moved house mainly to accomodate her family. She is trying to put kids through college and getting over a recent serious work attack on her husband. She has a heart of gold and never stops doing everything for everyone around her she never tires of being there at any hour day or night. She's an angel who thoroughly deserves a gift such as this. Thank you.

My friend, C. (68) whose home is in desperate need of a revamp, so she can finally sell her house and get a life, following a whole string of bad moves, worse happenings, such as a bad car crash resulting in broken spine and being left in debt by a compulsive gambler who squandered his inheritance, leaving less than nothing to wife and family, including an autistic son. To say she is struggling is putting it mildly. I believe she could even be "saved", because at the moment life looks pretty bleak.
