Help with curtains/blinds for an apex window
Comments (14)I have no idea if they are duette or not. It's so long ago now that I can't remember what they are called but they are a pleated blind. Mine aren't black out as it's a sunroom but I'm sure you could get a black out option if needed. I have attached some more photos so you can see what they look like open. As others have said it might be worth shopping around. It's a long time since we got ours so there could well be more companies doing a similar product now....See MoreHelp with window dressing
Comments (7)Hi Claire, this looks like a good sized double bedroom. I would suggest a simple blackout blind fitted inside the recess over each window, the darker the colour the more light this will block. This will only be used at night and could add a splash of colour during the day if you were to have the blind pulled partially down. I would then suggest Roman Blinds as a second layer, fitted outside the recess. To make the windows appear a more similar size fit the right hand blind at the same height as the blind on the left, and also make the drop of both blinds the same. I would also suggest using the same fabric for each blind and have the cords or sidewinder on the left hand side for both. I hope this is helpful....See MoreBedroom Dormer 'Doors' Window Dressing Help Please!
Comments (8)Hi, It is a tricky one :( Do you want curtains? If so, a small track rail (like what is there at the moment) it probably best as it is slim and allow curtains to be out of the way of the door hinges when open. Otherwise, for a more minimalist look, you could get « clip on » blinds. We have those on our French doors in our kitchen, it is almost invisible when open. https://www.blinds-2go.co.uk/door-blinds.htm?gclid=Cj0KCQiAhs79BRD0ARIsAC6XpaWjTxzY6Frs4xeaahLdPDMVQJaGj9mF0zWzptqtoAKRrZEZvZS2DIoaAsJlEALw_wcB...See MoreHelp! how to dress this French door and window
