lounge lighting options
Hello!
I’m stuck between 2 styles of lights for our lounge. Either an LED hoop light which is very modern, or a drum light which is a bit more cosy, I’ve attached photos of the types of lighting I’m looking at (but still looking).
Just to give you an idea of our lounge: it’s a long room with 2 ceiling lights, so can’t have anything too big or too statement-y as it would be a bit much for the room. We have big windows at both ends, One is a square bay. We will be getting dark grey carpet to go with our light grey sofas which have yellow and blue geometric patterned cushions. The rug is light grey with dark grey criss cross pattern. The curtains are white, yellow and grey geometric pattern, and the blind at the bay is grey and silver with small patterns. I hope that gives you an idea. We will add another sofa, either in blue or yellow. The walls will be a neutral (either a vanilla white or just plain white, feel grey would make that too much grey in the room and would be a shame as it’s such a sunny room). Anyway, the look we want is modern but cosy.
