Oh thank you, Daisy! Your Perdita is splendid! You’ve made me extremely happy that I purchased Perdita a while back. You’ve shown everything I could hope for, plus your your adorable kitty girl:)

I had no idea Perdita could throw pink blooms in cooler weather. What a wonderful bonus that is. I’m grateful for the full bush shot, and that you’ve said Perdita doesn’t do the infamous “Austin octopus arm thing”. This really helps me in deciding where to plant mine. I guess Perdita doesn’t need one of my coveted afternoon shade positions, after all. That’s music to my ears. It’s great discovering DA’s that can handle our hot and dry climate.

I’ve only had a few blooms from my one gallon Perdita, so far, but she was in quarantine and part shade. Now that I know she’s not carrying anything nasty, she can go into the garden. Your Perdita is in full sun, isn’t it? I think you mentioned that in another thread. Thanks very much for your perseverance extending a third time, Daisy. These are great pictures! Lisa

As usual, fantastics pics. Now I want Perdita. I don't have anything with such an upright habit but I do have a number of Austins that are described as colors other than white that bloom nearly white.

Lovely shots of the rose, Daisy, and of course of your pretty little girl. A cat can make any rose look better. I read on Dave's Garden that Perdita can get rust in hot and dry climates, and I've had problems with several bushes of Wild Edric getting it, but I gather Perdita is fine in your garden. It's not a rose that one sees often in nurseries here, but it should be if yours is anything to go by.
