House renovation
Hi, me and my partner have recently purchased a house that we have stripped right back (so could do with all the help we can get!). We are currently thinking of bathroom ideas but cannot agree on the layout. My partner would like a separate shower as well as a bath however, I don't think the room is big enough, plus I like a nice flowing room. I'd really appreciate some ideas for both designs. Thanks in advance! Kat.

We have removed the water tank now. The measurements are 2.1mx2.3m x
- 8 years agoHi, I’ve noticed in your ideabook pictures of walk in showers - is this what you’re after without a bath, or do you want a shower over a bath? Also, is the window wall 2.3m or 2.1? Presuming the room is now almost square?

Original Author8 years agoHi, I would prefer a bath really, a shower wou be a bonus but I don't know how it would fit without looking out of place. The room is almost square and the window wall is 2.3.
- 8 years agoI think is most likely way to have both bath and shower. You can have a walk in shower which is open to the bath side. Think wet room, the bath will get wet when you shower. But this sort.of layout will look the most open with just a glass panel up near the door.
Even if you skip the separate shower I'd swap the direction of the bath, slide up the WC (so it's not the first thing you see) and pop the basin where the WC is currently located.

I was looking at the first picture, wondering what that little pipe was, sticking out of the bath...
I think I know now... Haha - 8 years agoI think a showerbath would be the best option. Carron do some good bath designs and I'll likely use Victoria Plum online for my sink vanity units.
