Cupboard for washing machine and tumble dryer
Comments (0)Hello, has anyone created a cupboard within their kitchen (not utility room) to house stacked laundry appliances? I will be having a plain white (non-glossy) IKEA kitchen fitted and I know that I obviously will need something made to fit but if anyone has done something similar, I would love to see some photos or understand the pros and cons you went through. Comments (12)You should go with whatever suits your preferred way of working. If you have room for side by side with a work surface above and you like to fold in situ then go with that. Otherwise, stacked is very space efficient. Have you thought about the proximity to where and how any hand washing will be done? Will you be using the sink in the shower room. It's easy to do and cheaper to have freestanding appliances rather than integrated....See MoreWashing machine with tumble dryers - any good?

Anyway, before this house we were in rented for a while with a good washer/drier so decided to get one for this house. There's just the two of us so we don't have huge wash loads but it does a good job on the bedding which is a full load. But don't go for the cheapest. False economy. Ours is a Siemens iSensoric. Worth the outlay for us....See More- 7 years ago
