I love black on certain styles but since this is your first home, and likely to be sold by you, I think white makes it more marketable and unifies the look better.

I also love black windows, but I think the white works better with your house.

Black windows, but I would do a little lighter garage doors...somewhere between your wall color and what your picture shows. They dominate the picture right now, let the front door do that in stead.

paintable. then you can have black now and not Rue the Day you chose black because by the time you sell you'll be dealing with buyers shrieking they are "ugly" and "dated". because lets face it, buyers say everything done more than 5 min ago is ugly and dated and generally in all caps.

i have black sashes. they are paintable.

I like the second pic -- but without the shutters. Like the stone around the garage doors.

I generally prefer the black window frames -- and lots of windows without any shutters.

If, however, you're going to frame the black windows with white boards (rather than choosing a lighter or darker shade of your exterior wall color to add framing/trim around your windows), white window and door frames and white fascia will look much better -- more classic.

Do take into consideration your entry door when deciding on the color/finish of your garage doors and frame. You don't want your garage competing with your entry door for attention. Like the dark garage doors within the stone with the dark entry door. If you're going w/a dark wood and glass entry, using the same on your garage with as little white framing showing as possible is the way to go. Better yet, choose the black around the garage doors in the stone, not even letting a thin stripe of white show.

For this particular house- white.

i like the white windows....this helps the dark shutters/doors and black roof stand out more and gives better contrast.

Looks like the votes are pretty evenly split. If you have any preference of one over the other, go for your choice. Either color would work.
