Which paint color??
I’m deciding between two colors that are soooo similar but excuse my neurosis I can tell the difference and want to get this right!
The color (1) is Ashwood by Benjamin Moore. Maybe more green undertone/gray than 2.
The second color (2) is Sherwin Williams color match of Ashwood. It has a more pink tone to me I think. Maybe a bit warmer.
The white stripe by is is Alabaster by SW and will be what all the wood trim in our house will be painted. The wall color for all the main areas is the ashwood.
Last pic just shows the greenish cabinet color that it’ll be close to to consider as well.

Comments (7)Hi leo and grace, this is a cool looking wallpaper, very nice but in a north east facing room I would suggest you boost the colour up a bit. Bedrooms should always avoid yellow - it doesn't help you sleep. So here are a few suggestions... Liberty matt Amborella, it's soft and very pretty without being too 'pink'. It will work really well with your grey wallpaper and you could take this all the way around the room. This blue green is Royal Academy - Glass Beach, it's a gorgeous colour, and very restful. My final suggestion, and one that adds a bigger punch of colour, is Royal Academy -Sand Glass. I don't suggest you paint this all the way around the room but rather use it in combination with a grey that perfectly matches one of the greys in the wallpaper. I visualise stripes! Comments (26)Thank you Minnie. Yep, paint colour in the hallway is Purbeck Stone. The room faces North East. Perhaps muted colours would work better with the room flow. The problem is we just hate the way the colour looks behind the mirror at the moment. No idea what it is because it was on the walls when we bought the house. you can return the bulbs if you still think they are too yellow. (I can see a yellowish hue on the wall). Up to you though. I personally do not like the warm bulbs at all.

In my experience colors always lighten (compared to the sample) when it’s the whole wall painted. I’m trying to keep that in mind. I don’t want white walls. Don’t want cold gray.

Went with number 2 Because number 1 kept looking too cool/silver in areas. Very happy with it!
