First thing that makes the paper too busy is the stuffed room. So declutter. If nowhere else to put it, find a spacious cupboard/drawers. Paint it Yeabridge Green for example. Don't design around a sofa set you don't like. Find some pillows, rug and blankets that go well with the paper and floor. Make yourself a moodboard with curtains and such and then decide. Here are some F&B paint colors that could work well (I've tried them all, would not advise any other). Personally I like the first three on the left. But haven't seen your room (and taste), so no further suggestions..

Hello we are doing our hall way, lounge and kitchen in this tile but wanted a nice dulux paint to blend in. The samples here are egyption cotton, timeless, white hessian, f and b peignoir...which i like but looks quite pinky. Any ideas anyone?? Kitchen is cashmere and brown. Thank you.

Hi! I would use a Color Muse to measure the colour attributes of your flagged floor and then choose a colour, which relates to the hue family to which the flooring belongs. Then all you need decide, is whether you prefer the wall colour to be darker or lighter, but knowing that it will coordinate with the flagged floor.

Hi Jan, This wallpaper is perplexing. It seems to change tone in different sunlight - in cloudy conditions the background has a yellow tinge to it and in bright sunlight, more of a pinky cream. I discovered a custom duvet fabric that we had made for a client do this, and it became a real palava because the fabric looked completely different at night vs the day - day it looked perfect & at night it clashed with many of the other soft furnishings - ugh. Saying that, the suggestion made to contact the manufacturer and ask what paint colour they suggest may be a very good one. Otherwise, the method I suggested along with many of the lovely specific paint suggestions here - hold those swatches up to the wallpaper at different times of the day & then do the sample paint test on the wall to make sure - will probably be your best bet.
