Decorating a wall that has up and down lights

I’m looking to decorate a wall that has 4 up and down lights running along it. There’s currently a small painting between two which I don’t think looks great - how much scope is there to add mirrors etc between the lights, or will that just result in it looking too busy? The wall in total is about 6 metres in length. Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi Emme,

Looking at the light pattern on the wall I think 3 images would look great in the space. Is that 3 diamond shapes painted on the wall, or just the light bouncing around?

I would centre the images between the lights.

I would stick to the same 3 items - so either 3 decorative mirrors, or 3 images from the same type (ie family).

I have the handles up in the air, which is easiest to fill and empty and they are always clean, I threw away the lid attachment that lets me carefully place each item with the handle down in the basket and instead throw them in, it's quicker, simpler, less stressful and it comes out washed and I am happy! That's what it's all about, being happy!

Mustard , gold and yellow are good with blue. If you want mustard accents , then I would go with warm gray painting (it is called as greige) gray-beige. You can add glass with gold coffee table or gold with white, both would work good.

I was determined to find some! The cox&cox ones are beautiful! Thanks for all of your opinions and advice, it's much appreciated. @Becci C we're using the same matt grey tiles on the floor. @hedgehog99 great idea to pick out the colours with accessories, we'll definitely look at doing that. @Beverley Alexander that's a difficult question re grout colours :) for the matt tiles we're thinking a similar colour to the tile itself so the lines blend in. For the feature wall I think a darker grout, so it almost looks like how it does now, we feel a lighter grout might break up the shapes too much. The tile combination is definitely growing on us now the more we see it, it's something different I guess
