We were delighted to work with the homeowners of this breathtakingly beautiful luxury home in Ascot, Berkshire to create their dream kitchen.
Comprising a large open plan kitchen / dining space, utility room, boot room and laundry room, the project was almost completely a blank canvas except for the kitchen the house came with which was cramped and ill-fitting for the large space.
With three young children, the home needed to serve the needs of the family first but also needed to be suitable for entertaining on a reasonably large level. The kitchen features a host of cooking appliances designed with entertaining in mind including the legendary Wolf Duel fuel Range with Charbroiler with a Westin extractor. Opposite the Wolf range and integrated into the island are a Miele microwave and Miele sous chef warming drawer.
The large kitchen island acts the main prep area and includes a Villeroy & Boch Double Butler Sink with insinkerator waste disposal, Perrin & Rowe Callisto Mixer Tap with rinse and a Quooker Pro Vaq 3 Classic tap finished in polished nickel. The eurocargo recycling pullout bins are located in the island with a Miele dishwasher handily located either side to ensure maximum efficiency. Choosing the iconic Sub-Zero fridge freezer for this kitchen was a super choice for this large kitchen / dining area and provides ample storage.
The dining area has a Weathered Oak Refectory Table by Humphrey Munson. The table seats 10 so works really well for entertaining friends and family in the open plan kitchen / dining area. The seating is by Vincent Sheppard which is perfect for a family with young children because they can be easily maintained.

A bespoke kitchen for a large family house in antiqued oak, Carrara marble and stainless steel worktops. Ironmongery is burnished nickel and the sink is stainless steel. Maple end grained chopping block. La Cornue range oven with chrome detailing. Hand painted dresser with bronze cabinet fittings.

The Tuscany seasoned limestone tile emulates a true rustic and country feel. This textured honey toned stone, features subtle tonal variation as well as rich fossilisation resulting in a characterful and forgiving limestone tile. From tile to tile, this natural stone can also display a soft flowing movement, which works perfectly as kitchen tiles and ground floors.

A large family kitchen which flows perfectly into the new orangery. Designed using a variety of tactile surfaces including stone and wood. With a 3.5 metres long central island with unusual curved steps between the surfaces, it defines the space and is practical for incorporating storage, food preparation areas and is a wonderful focus for gathering people. There is also a walk in larder with marble surfaces for appliances and food storage.

This magnificent 220 sqm apartment from the early 20th century was refurbished by Faranak Backer. The purpose was to modernize, but also to highlight the historic elements of the interior with beautiful wall ornaments and stucco features.
The project took one and a half year to complete and is a result of deep historic research and a careful selection of colors, artifacts, and unique art objects as the statue “Snö klocka” by Per Hasselberg from 1881.

The kitchen space is not huge but has everything you need and is great for entertaining. The space is flooded with light.

A classic farmhouse kitchen with warm tumbled stone flooring. An AGA range cooker with exposed flu add to the rustic function over form styling. Our customer was keen to not have any wall units to increase light and maintain a sense of space. As a result, clever storage solutions were required such as a worktop standing bi-fold dresser, a larder in the original fireplace/hearth aperture, a free standing dresser with full stave lacquered oak worktop and a free standing american fridge freezer framed either side with larder towers.

This was a Country style shaker kitchen fitted into an old Georgian house which featured flagstone flooring, stone walls and a bakers oven. With 3 entryways into the kitchen there was limited floor and wall space due to the ceiling being 2 m high.
We used the available space to the best of its capability and managed to get a decent amount of work space without making the kitchen feel busy. A solid wood work top was installed to keep the country feel of the property but light coloured cabinetry was installed and the walls were painted a warm welcoming but light colour.
The original features such as the bakers oven, the mantlepiece and stone floors were refreshed but otherwise left to keep the character of the room.
