The owners of this stylish apartment in Hampstead wanted a dark high gloss statement floor throughout. They opted for this engineered oak floor that has been smoked rather than coloured, giving the timber its rich brown, conker like hues. The high gloss factory finish reflects the natural bright light emanating from the large arched windows and bounces it across the bright white walls of the apartments monochrome interior. Choosing a dark colour in a relatively small space is a brave move, but can be an effective way of creating a visually dramatic look.

A complete refurbishment of an elegant Victorian terraced house within a sensitive conservation area. The project included a two storey glass extension and balcony to the rear, a feature glass stair to the new kitchen/dining room and an en-suite dressing and bathroom. The neutral tones and textures in here are a delight and the colour is subtle, shaded and tonal rather than bold and pop like. You can kick of your shoes and grab a cuppa in here thats for sure.

The snug is located in the rear of the cottage, a cosy room which has been furnished with a Belgian linen sofa, vintage coffee table and vintage Persian rug. The wall colour is Down Pipe by Farrow & Ball. It's the perfect space to curl up with a book or movie.
