A new closed string, closed riser staircase with oak strings and carpeted treads. A simple balustrade with oak posts and handrail, complimented with wrought iron spindles powder-coated black.

The steep timber open staircase up to the mezzanine living area adds a strong element of fun to the space, with the raw timber of the stairs and floor to ceiling balustrade separating the mezzanine level whilst letting in light from the surrounding areas. The space-saving staircase design was approved by building control due to limited access space. Renovation by Absolute Project Management

This stunning stairwell was designed by Vorstermans Architects Ltd! The open side of the stair is suspended from the ceiling and supported by the vertical timber slats. The timber used was Tasmanian Oak which has been clear finished to enhance its natural beauty.
