This kitchen showcases a harmonious blend of contemporary design and classic architecture. The room is well-lit, with natural light streaming in from a large window on the left. The ceiling features intricate crown molding, indicative of the building's Grade 2 listing and historical significance. Three elegant pendant lights with a brass finish and frosted glass shades hang above the central island, which is topped with a pristine white countertop. The island also incorporates a built-in sink and a cooktop, offering functionality within its streamlined form. Two modern bar stools with curved silhouettes and dark wooden legs are positioned at the island, providing casual seating. The kitchen cabinetry is minimalistic, with handleless doors painted in a muted off-white tone that complements the overall neutral palette. A splashback of white marble adds a touch of luxury and ties in with the countertop. The flooring is laid in a herringbone pattern, adding texture and a classic touch to the space. A small selection of books and a vase with eucalyptus branches introduce a personal and lived-in feel to the otherwise minimalist kitchen.

we created a practical, L-shaped kitchen layout with an island bench integrated into the “golden triangle” that reduces steps between sink, stovetop and refrigerator for efficient use of space and ergonomics. Instead of a splashback, windows are slotted in between the kitchen benchtop and overhead cupboards to allow natural light to enter the generous kitchen space. Overhead cupboards have been stretched to ceiling height to maximise storage space. Timber screening was installed on the kitchen ceiling and wrapped down to form a bookshelf in the living area, then linked to the timber flooring. This creates a continuous flow and draws attention from the living area to establish an ambience of natural warmth, creating a minimalist and elegant kitchen. The island benchtop is covered with extra large format porcelain tiles in a 'Calacatta' profile which are have the look of marble but are scratch and stain resistant. The 'crisp white' finish applied on the overhead cupboards blends well into the 'natural oak' look over the lower cupboards to balance the neutral timber floor colour.

This beautiful kitchen extension was designed to accommodate a spacious living, kitchen and dining area. The thin frame sliding doors and white Velux windows bring in plenty of natural light and provide a contemporary finish. The glass valley and internal glass panel provide natural light to the rear reception room and act as a unique and interesting feature. The client has taken a minimalist approach to furnishing the space resulting in a modern finish which complements the extension.

GD Arredamenti teams up with Colonnade Group and architect Morris Adjmi for a new boutique residential development located in the Tribeca West Historic District, New York. The gracious interiors, design by Stefano Pasqualetti, and the layouts of these apartments provide for a quiet respite from city life and elegant entertaining; Velvet Elite walnut kitchen collection was used in a combination of frosted white glass with black aluminum frame and both walnut veneer and 3-layer solid Walnut (for the Penthouse only). In addition, beautiful marbles from Italy enrich the whole apartments; accordingly top of the line appliances from Miele and Subzero-Wolf makes these kitchens highly functional and yet beautiful. Master bathrooms and powder rooms, elegantly clad in custom etched Carrara marble, were also designed with the use of natural materials; such as custom built washbasins in Piasentina stone and Serena stone, all manufactured by GD Arredamenti. The deep navy of the kitchen units contrasts the clean lines of the white granite countertops and central island, with panelling for extra detail and hidden storage beneath. We sourced the large basket shades from Vietnam. They provide a striking feature, matched in colour and texture by the wicker stools, both elements bringing symmetry and natural, organic materials to the space. The existing house was poorly planned after a many renovations. The entry to the house was through a verandah that had previously been enclosed and the cottage had multiple unconnected living spaces with pour natural light and connection to the beautiful established gardens. With some simple internal changes the renovation allowed removal of the enclosed verandah and have the entry realigned to the central part of the house. Existing living areas where repurposed as sleeping spaces and a new living wing established to house a master bedroom and ensuite upstairs. The new living wing gives you an immediate sense of balance and calm as soon as you walk into the double-height living area. The new wing area beautifully captures filtered light on the north and west, allowing views of the established garden on all sides to enter the interior spaces.
