This job was a kitchen living dining area comprising of a complete refurbishment of two separate rooms. After knocking through the dividing wall, we replastered and repainted each wall and ceiling, and rewired the room to install recessed downlights. The floor was lifted and retiled, and the area replumbed to install the kitchen which includes new cabinets, a brand new island unit, bottle cooler, and gas hob and oven. The entire area now benefits from natural light from the 180 degree wrap around windows in the living area. All electrical and plumbing work was carried out by our in house multi-skilled team.

A blue and grey theme and peninsula island space achieve this client's ambitions for this extended kitchen area.
The Brief
This client sought a kitchen design to suit the modern rear extension being built at their property. They favoured a contemporary theme with plenty of modern inclusions to add daily function to their new kitchen space.
A breakfast bar or island was a key requirement, as a place to perch and to make the area more sociable.
Design Elements
A combination of Indigo Blue and Light Grey cabinetry has been utilised to achieve the modern design this client favoured. The furniture is from British brand Trend and is their Matt effect foiled slab option, which has been paired with integrated chrome handles.
To best utilise the space within the new extension, designer Alistair has created a L-shape layout with tall units used to house appliances and important storage space.
The island area was a key desirable, and Alistair has incorporated this by using a wrap-around peninsula design. This design adds storage and provides a social space to perch while cooking or for more casual use.
The island and entire kitchen are fitted with hard-wearing quartz work surfaces from brand Silestone. The chosen finish Snowy Ibiza is a white veined option that teams really well with grey accents used in the room.
To match the work surfaces and light theme a quartz composition 1.5 bowl Blanco silgranite sink has also been installed.
Special Inclusions
As well as a redesign of the kitchen area, this client sought to improve the usability and function of the space with a new array of appliances. A selection of Neff appliances have been specified, which where possible have been integrated to allow the indigo blue and light grey theme to take centre-stage.
A Neff single oven, combination oven, refrigerator, freezer, hob, extractor, dishwasher and integrated washing machine have been supplied and installed as part of this project.
Our team also installed some of the finishing touches to this project.
Karndean flooring has been installed throughout the kitchen and island area, and the honed oyster slate finish combines well with lighter elements of the theme.
To heat the new extension our team have also installed a full-height anthracite radiator close to the sink area.
Project Highlight
This island area is the highlight of this project, its unique shape incorporates useful storage and the perching area this client required.
During construction designer Alistair recommended the widening of the doorway to increase spaciousness of the island, which adds a great flow in between the living room and kitchen.
The End Result
The end result achieves all the elements of this client’s initial brief whilst incorporating great design expertise from kitchen designer Alistair.
This project highlights the fantastic results that can be achieved for extension projects.

Located in one of the most prestigious roads in St Albans, the clients engaged with us to create a new open plan kitchen, dining and living space. We created the 3D visualisation adding on a glass box extension. The result is a beautiful contemporary space which seamlessly moves into the garden. This is now the hub of their family life and a space which they love.

Cutting-Edge Nobilia Kitchen in Horsham, West Sussex
Situated in a picturesque Horsham Close, this kitchen is a recent design and full installation that now makes the most of a well-lit extension. Kitchen designer George from our Horsham showroom has undertaken the design of this project, delivering several desirables in a project that is packed with design and appliance functionality.
With the extension of this local property in place, the task was to make the space available work better for this Horsham client. And, with flexible dining options, vast storage, and a neat monochrome aesthetic – George has achieved this spectacularly with a glorious end result.
Kitchen Furniture
To achieve the perfect dynamic for this space, a neutral kitchen furniture option has been selected from our German supplier Nobilia. The colourway opted for is Stone Grey, which has been selected in the popular matt effect Touch range, bringing subtle tone and a silk like texture to the space. The light colour choice of furniture for this space is purposeful, giving way to poignant black monochrome accents that contribute to the aesthetic.
The Stone Grey furniture has been carefully designed to fully utilise the space. A long L-shape run houses most of the kitchen storage along with cooking appliances, feature wall units and sink area all placed here. A slimline island space with seating for four gives additional seating and a casual dining option with plenty of surrounding space. The final furniture component is a small run for the customers own American Fridge-Freezer, additional cooking appliances and pull-out storage area.
Kitchen Appliances
For this project a superior specification of Neff appliances has been used, with each area of appliances carefully thought through to fit the way this home operates. This client’s own American fridge freezer has been fitted neatly around furniture, with an impressive Neff coffee centre and N90 combination oven closely situated to form a morning drinks and breakfast station. Built-in to furniture opposite are two more high-spec N90 appliances, one of which is the notorious Neff Slide&Hide oven and the other is another combination oven.
Along the long L-shape run a Neff angled cooker hood sits above an 80cm flexInduction hob, providing a spacious cooking area but also contributing to the monochrome aesthetic. A Neff dishwasher has been integrated close to the sink to create another station this time for cleaning and clearing up, whilst a CDA dual temperature wine cabinet features at the end of this run boasting a useful forty-five bottle capacity.
Kitchen Accessories
A vast expanse of hard-wearing quartz has been used for the worksurfaces throughout this kitchen, creating a nice complementary theme between the Stone Grey units and the Intense White Silestone worktops selected. Within the worktops drainer grooves have been fabricated alongside the sink as well as space for a useful EVOline flip switch island socket. A Blanco undermounted 1.5 bowl sink has been incorporated at the clients request with a matching chrome mixer and magnetic hose.
The most noticeable accessory in this kitchen however is the immense glass black splashback fitted all the way along the main run in this space. Not only does this splashback give an easy wipe clean option, but it contributes massively to the monochrome feel that this client desired. This project utilised many trades from our fitting team with two full height radiators fitted in the kitchen area alongside all plumbing and a complete flooring refit, using durable Grey Limed Oak Karndean flooring.
Kitchen Features
Electing for German supplier Nobilia meant that this client also had extensive options when it came to deciding on feature units and extra kitchen inclusions. To operate this handleless kitchen, stainless steel rails have been incorporated for access – these create a linear and symmetric dynamic which is shown nicely with aligned pan drawers either side of the island space. Subtle glazed wall units have been used along the main run in the kitchen adding to the linear feel. These are joined by a ten-bottle exposed wine racking that is useful for storing at ambient temperature.
A line-up of pull-out pantry boxes have been used towards the appliance end of this kitchen which each maximise storage space compared to conventional shelving. These boxes increase storage capacity of the kitchen, give easy access, and add an all-in-one-place storage theme for ambient items.

A bright, spacious open-planed kitchen diner uses splashes of colour for a contemporary up beat feel. We used Grigio Grafite Matt lacquer for all cupboard doors, a cool base colour, perfect to introduce different layers with pops of colour throughout. For the worktops, we used Diresco Pure White (quartz), providing an instant contrast against the grey cupboards. All cupboard doors and draws are push to open and appliances are integrated for a seamless finish. A pine wooden flooring injects a subtle rustic feel, adding warmth to the space.

A modern stylish kitchen designed by piqu and supplied by our German manufacturer Ballerina. The crisp white handleless cabinets are paired with a dark beautifully patterned Caesarstone called Vanilla Noir. A black Quooker tap and appliances from Siemen's Studioline range reinforce the luxurious and sleek design.

The Brief
Our client's brief? To create a contemporary yet timeless kitchen that maximises storage and workspaces while providing a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The Furniture
We opted for the minimalist, Pronorm Y-line Arctic White Lacquer & Stratus Grey Lacquer cabinets. The combination of white and grey hues adds depth and contrast to the space, while the lacquered finish enhances durability, making the space both functional and stylish.
To complement the clean lines of the cabinetry, we selected a beautiful Artscut Bianco Mysterio Quartz countertop. The silky-smooth finish of the quartz surface provides an ideal workspace for meal prep and cooking, while its natural-looking veining adds depth and character to the kitchen.
Appliances & Accessories
We were keen to incorporate appliances and accessories that enhance the kitchen's efficiency without compromising its design. The Blanco sink, filter tap, and soap dispenser provide ensure functionality, while the Neff appliances and Bora hob add a touch of innovation and style. The Smoked Grey mirror splashback adds a subtle touch of glamour and reflects light throughout the kitchen, creating a bright and airy ambience.
The Result

Creating one large kitchen dining experience by knocking several smaller rooms into one to create a single, comfortable space for a large family.
Modern, light and airy with matt finish slab style doors set on a painted black handleless cabinet. A mix of durable quartz, coloured glass and textured oak worktops add a touch of sophistication and interest.

This stunning kitchen near Falmouth provided us with an amazing opportunity to explore the limits of kitchen design and materials, enabling us to create a unique multi-functional space. The area includes an enormous island for food prep and entertaining. The large bank of tall cabinets housed 2 ovens, a coffee machine, a combi/microwave, 2 warming drawers, a full-height fridge, freezer and wine cooler as well as 2 larders. Separate built-in furniture provides a drinks cabinet and a concealed media centre.
We were impressed by the exceptional craftsmanship from all our suppliers and our fitters to create a seamless built-in look in an open plan area that had previously been a lounge. The kitchen itself is manufactured by British company Masterclass Kitchens in Lumina gloss in Graphite with a pale Scots Grey to contrast on the island.
Beautiful Neolith Mont Blanc Silk sintered stone deep profile worktops with meticulously matched veining were crafted by Duke Stone of Cornwall. A complex lighting scheme with several zones managed via an i-Pad app was installed by Falmouth Electrics, including recessed ceiling lighting that perfectly echoed the shape of the island. The spectacular glass panelling made by Optidek integrated original artwork by artisan glass company Red Dog Glass Design - a gorgeous finishing touch. A luxury suite included Neff appliances, Dunavox wine fridge, Quopoker Cube tap, and composite Blanco sinks.
It is an absolutely beautiful kitchen of which we are exceptionally proud!

Ultramodern British Kitchen in Ferring, West Sussex
Sea Green handleless furniture from our British supplier and wonderful Corian surfaces combine in this coastal kitchen.
The Brief
This Ferring project required a kitchen rethink in terms of theme and layout. In a relatively compact space, the challenge for designer Aron was to incorporate all usual amenities whilst keeping a spacious and light feel in the room.
Corian work surfaces were a key desirable for this project, with the client also favouring a nod to the coastal setting of the property within the kitchen theme.
Design Elements
The layout of the final design makes the most of an L-shape run to maximise space, with appliances built-in and integrated to allow the theme of the kitchen to take centre-stage.
The theme itself delivers on the coastal design element required with the use of Sea Green furniture. During the design phase a handleless kitchen became the preferred choice for this client, with the design utilising the Segreto option from British supplier Mereway – also chosen because of the vast colour options.
Aron has used furniture around an American fridge freezer, whilst incorporating a nice drinks area, complete with wine bottle storage and glazed black feature door fronts.
Lighting improvements have also been made as part of the project in the form of undercabinet lighting, downlights in the ceiling and integrated lighting in the feature cupboard.
Special Inclusions
As a keen cook, appliance choices were an important part of this project for the client.
For this reason, high-performance Neff appliances have been utilised with features like Pyrolytic cleaning included in both the Slide & Hide single oven and compact oven. An intuitive Neff induction hob also features in this project.
Again, to maintain the theme appliances have been integrated where possible. A dishwasher and telescopic extractor hood are fitted behind Sea Green doors for this reason.
Project Highlight
Corian work surfaces were a key requirement for this project, with the client enjoying them in their previous kitchen.
A subtle light ash option has been chosen for this project, which has also been expertly fabricated in to a seamless 1.5 bowl sink area complete with drainer grooves.
The End Result
The end result is a wonderful kitchen design that delivers on all the key requirements of the project. Corian surfaces, high-performance appliances and a Sea Green theme tick all the boxes of this project brief.
