Master Bedroom

Serenity - I always come back to this one as an inspiration shot, even though several details are different than I picture.

Scott and I have always liked tray ceilings with recessed lighting; this would be perfect for our bedroom.

We don't need a huge amount of windows in this space ... we tend to keep our bedroom curtains closed. I love this type of window, assuming that it could be closed by hidden blinds, etc.

Of course, it would be important to choose a headboard to ensure sufficient clearance. This one might be too high. I like upholstered one, Scott doesn't ... this is a nice mix of contemporary yet warm.

We'd prefer that the width of the room not exceed the king sized bed plus two night stands. The depth should be enough to accommodate a bench at the foot of the bed plus an armoire. No other dressers needed.

I like the scale of this night stand, but in black. Room for a stack of books plus an i-Pad, plus space to hide away clutter. I'd love a lamp on each table plus a piece of art to complete each vignette.
