Reply to: You could do a solid with subtle light stripe possibly. I have some of my China in a French Armoire and it has the original wood shelves. I don’t have it “styled” yet. Just got stuff in there and hope to style it soon. But you can see the cream platter shows up in the wood and when it’s styled it looks really nice. So I would try it out without backing additions and see what you think.

Reply to: Hey Kjoy...how have you been....I have been busy planing a fall cocktail party for the neighborhood so have not been really active on Houzz.... was thinking if Pool did neutral rug..and blue console and a few blue accents...instead of woven wood blinds maybe do a white Roman with black trim to keep things bright....
