I like the slab wood and beveled edge of this top. The walnut is beautiful, but I think we'd be better with a lighter colored wood to blend with the existing wood featured in our kitchen and dining room (dining table is reclaimed doug fir and kitchen island is reclaimed wood from bowling alley).
