to perhaps help out with Andy's concern for not feeling Tuscany--go with a darker kitchen color for the wood stain.Then maybe island gets light. or vise versa. Love these floors.These are simple recessed panel cab doors. The hardware and all of the other stuff is going to make it go which way we want it to go. :)

if we added walls as dividers in the front part of the house, with beams.This is your same ceiling height. Gives Lots of character.These are inset doors. Like what you have. This is probably the way I would go over the overlay that she recommended. These doors no different than yours other than color and you have a raised panel. It is the beams, lighting, details, giving the room it's complete texture and feel. Don't overthink the cabinets. I think that Arts and Crafts locks you in too much. Think you could just go with a mediterranean feel with spanish and italian influences.
