THIS is another idea for plates/bowls/silverware if Steve doesn't like open/floating by cooktop - we can put at end of island. SUPER handy access and not in the way of others in the kitchen.

this is a new one on me - cool idea of glasses/mugs in a drawer. Perhaps if coffee maker is in nook (if it works by back door) could have a drawer for coffee cups. Then more appliance storage above/below.
