I used to think Ebony was crazy dark but with darker options out there it now seems less so. Try a sample of both the Coffee and Ebony over bleached Brazilian Cherry. They both have a green hue to help cancel red tones. Ebony is more black where Coffee is more brown. Make sure to evaluate it after a coat of poly is applied and look at it in different lights.

For carpet, look at Shaw Natural Balance. They have a variety of colors.
