Like how there is just pane no wall between space. Would have space below seat have two shelves. Top would be open or possibly have doors?

I like the two shelves below bench and the shelf above. Would do the paneling differently above beach to be spaced similar to the shelf above and below. Should the shelf above have doors and do we have space to bookend bench with closet on one side and drawers in other?
