This natural stone is from Texas.
Notice how the surrounding meets the detailed wood.
Why not build columns of smooth stucco with imbedded sandstone to hold large windows for the extended enclosed porch?
Although the stone is different, here is stone used in an entrance.
Flood walls of stone could have slow release of flood water I. The area of concern maybe.
Notice how brick is interspersed with the stone.
