what if we recessed the bottom and recessed an LED tape light underneath that ledge so it glows underneath at night?
we didn't factor lighting in the budget but it would be pretty impressive

similar concept, but that has to be artificial turf otherwise you'd have to irrigate your firepit area

this is more so exactly what I'm thinking for the privacy screen. a louvered panel wall with down lighting built in.
