This is the look we want. Marble with white, clean mantle. We like the edge detail that frames the firebox.

The current mantel sits proud of the wall width. We don’t like that.

This is sorta the look we are going for. A new mantel that sits flush on the wall and doesn’t overhang the 73” bump out. The interior is 53” width x 45” height (top of arc). We are open to suggestions for decor on the bump out wall.

Existing fireplace is on a wall that’s 73” width x 108” ceiling height. Fireplace is 44.5” w x 33.5” h.

Gap on sides. Similar to the the sizing of what we want in a fireplace mantel.
