This is the current favorite design reframing the entry to the kitchen/dining area to open & balance out the entrance to the current kitchen & dining space. From there, the space turns into the kitchen, with a center prep/social space. What is now the living room would become the dining room, and the front porch space would be an addition & the new living room. Probably a side entry on the north side of the house.

I prefer closer to this color cabinet than the turquoise/teal, and white countertops.
