The need was straightforward: to modernise the existing home. The building is about 50-60 years old. For some reason, all the walls are made of concrete. Thus, we were challenged with the fact that the majority of walls were unmovable. While the new wall layout is similar to the original, the programmatic distribution is completely different,” says Maria Leon, chief interior designer and co-founder with Shroff.
