MCM & modern done cohesively, like that there is seating at the island. I like that the different shapes of same light fixture add nice design element.

I like the MCM & more transitional mix, such as the painted cabinets and backsplash. I also like that the light fixtures have a MCM w/o being dated. Only problems w/painted cabinets is peeling/wear & tear of paint
