This would be great for the smaller structure. When the barn door is open, there is plenty of room to do laundry. But, once you are done, cover the space with the barn door.

I'd love a cushion window sill to sit in the sun and read. However, to make better use of the space, it should also have drawers for storage below the cushion seat.
