Accent Lighting - Intended to highlight a specific object or area, accent lights are typically three times as bright as ambient lights. Accent lighting draws attention to a feature, such as artwork, furnishings or architectural details, converting them into focal points.

Ambient Lighting - Ambient lighting is meant to hide lights so there is not a lot of shadows happening, and more natural light. Ambient lighting provides the foundation and general illumination of a room. Aside from the basic lighting functionality it provides, it enhances the sense of warmth and depth of your space.

Wall Grazing - Lights are very close to the wall to emphasize textures on wall. Wall grazing is a lighting technique where lights are positioned closely to a wall, either from the floor or ceiling, to force the beam of light to hit the wall at a narrow angle. This angle draws the eye to the texture of the wall by creating shadows.

Cove Lighting - Cove lights are a kind of hidden indirect lighting installed into the channels on the ceiling or walls. It is often accentuated by a slim ledge or cornice at or near the ceiling, and it offers a perfect opportunity to employ hidden lighting to accentuate or emphasize special features in a room.Light reflected from the surfaces spreads into space.

Recessed Lighting - Recessed lighting is installed directly inside a ceiling, wall, or other surface. Recessed fixtures are comprised of different types of lighting. A Buffle which is the most popular, an open which is most economical, Reflector it has max light for residential spaces, and lastly an eyeball which is adjustable. The bulk of the fixture which is hidden within the wall or ceiling and contains the electrical connections of the fixture.

Drop Lighting - Drop lighting falls into spaces. People have to be careful when using these so they don't drop or get damaged. Drop Light basically consists of rechargeable lights or drops that can be used either as a pendant or lamp or individually. This means you can place them anywhere in your home and you can combine them in any way you want.

Wall Washing - Wall washing is a lighting technique in which vertical, indirect lighting is placed in the ceiling or floor at a wider distance from the wall. This way, the light can fall down on the wall in an equal, uniform way. This provides a "washed" effect of the wall so that shadows and defects disappear from the wall.

Fluorescent Bulb - Doesnt emit any heat. Used to be flat lights, warmer lights, and usuyally spiral. Fluorescent lighting is a highly versatile type of lighting. It's known for energy efficiency compared to incandescent and halogen light bulbs. There are several different types of fluorescent lighting including linear fluorescent tubes, fluorescent bent tubes, fluorescent circline tubes, and CFLs.

Creative lighting - This is creative lighting since the light is actually coming from the books. This would be very cool and useful for people who have bookcases in their home. It is almost similar to cove and accent lighting in a way.
