something like this, but out of wood for the mantle and soapstone or hones granite for the surround.
like the look of the sides and the cobel looking things
for the family room

like the way the TV sits back and can be covered.
like this for the family room, but would like for the TV to sit back further, if possible.. maybe use something like a railroad tie for the mantle?
for the bedroom. with doors to close around the tv. perhpas match the marble from the bathroom? without the built ins on the sides, of course.
