I really love the millwork on the fireplace, probably cheaper than tile and keeps the integrity of a bungalow style, instead of the TV you could hang some art or a mirror. The flanking cabinetry I would make open, but I LOVE the fireplace, you could go a tad bolder with the tile work since it is a relatively small scope
