Mix of brass and stainless. Brass doesn't seem overdone.

Looks like counter material makes a seamless backsplash as well. Is this too modern for us or would it work in a traditional type kitchen also?

We do need a place for medication hidden in the kitchen- although a bath in the pic this may be perfect solution for medication.
Backsplash is frosted glass- less maintenance than tile??
I like the gray base cabinets w black tops- white tile and paint keep the look bright. Light fixtures also.
