simple....but would use stone vs brick...maybe just a simple wood chunk mantel that would match the floor.

Really like the arrangement of furniture.....2 chairs by fireplace....small love seat backed with table and chairs....all at an angle in the space.....Would this work for us? Of course we could arrange the room in many different ways....but I sort of like this angled thing and makes it a cozy sitting area?....Would need a smaller table....rectangular shape. Thoughts?
