Ideally, maybe a layout like this would work? One thing I would change is the basket in the bottom to 2 long drawers to store shoes.

This one might be a little too large? What I like about this one is the style (some details on the door) and color (off-white)
If storage on side wont work, this one is simple and sizewise would work
