Interiors

We LIVE in our home. We are not stuffy or formal. We want it to feel warm and inviting. I lean more towards classic. I don't mind a "luxurious" element here and there but definitely don't want a light colored sofa (been there done that) or rugs that can't hold up to stains. Has to be "kid proof". We do have a no food out of the kitchen rule but the kids like to bend the rule since our keeping room is part of the kitchen and that's where the ONLY TV in our home is located. We do have furniture that can be used in the house but are willing to purchase what is needed if it makes sense. Would like to see layers of design elements in the space ti create a unified look; texture, pattern, movement, unity, variety, etc.
