This is how I want to store my belts. Preferably 2-3 compartments deep. Does not need to be a transparent front (would rather it be opaque wood).

If we can have some sort of built-in or high-end hanging system for my slacks and jeans, that would be ideal.

Doug's Closet: Pull down hangers built into the side of the closet / shelf like the one that the suit jacket is hanging on in the center of this photo. One hanger at eye-level (74") and one at belt-level (36") so I can build an outfit and see what it looks like.

This hardware looks really sleek if we use cabinet doors and drawers rather than shelves

Like the wooden feel and the open shelves, although it puts pressure on us to stay organized, yet makes the room feel larger
