Good light and storage.
I like the feel of this office
Wrap-around desk is very functional
Overkill
Gives sense of being a "retreat" but feels like it needs to be on the first floor.
Like palate & light - - picture gives sense that there may well be a resting/reading part to the room
Convert some storage to book cases &wall space, put in reading space and refreshments and we are close. Very functional work surface.
Like storage & light - - desk isn't functional enough (no storage for pens, no file storage)
