We choose to "listen to the architecture" of our mid century ranch home so asked our cabinet maker to router in these under-sink lines. All cabinet handles and pulls were custom made by my husband, Dennis Sullivan. He used African Purpleheart wood.

We kept our 1950's Wedgewood stove but, placed new tile in back. Our old tile was the original from when the house was built in 1948.

Finally, with this total gut and remodel, we are able to use both corners of our 100 plus sq. ft. Kitchen.

Pull-out spice racks and pantry beside stove and also along our 10 cu. ft. LG refrigerator.

I found these adorable ceramic strips via EBay. They became the boss for the rest of our kitchen color palette. We used the maroon in the ribbon by choosing to go with maroon quarter round and box tile trim. Also our walls were painted using Sherwin William's "Quartz White." It is a sort of mauve color and really makes the yellow and maroon pop. The ceramic strips had dots of mauve between the maroon ribbon trim
