eclectic
The smooth black interior wall is elegant & the rough texture brick wall is masculine. Perfect combination. Also dark & light. Its unique to see black framed art against a black painted wall. (Most of the time frames are a contrasting color.) The black frames provide a slight three-dimensional effect, for a slight protrusion from the wall, while mataining the smooth look.
I have a dressor & nightstand that match this buffet table! I love how the arches add a gothic vibe to the mid-century look. Its definetly an "eclectic" mid-century style piece as it's different than most pieces I have seen from that period. It's heafty & delicate (handles), modern & old fashioned (chunky arches). It does have veneer on parts, as mine had a chip on the top corner & on the leg of the nightstand. I sent it out for repair, as a piece like this looks best in perfect condition. I KNEW there had to be more pieces. I wanted a matching head board hopefully consisting of entirely the arch design. (I'm not a matchy, matchy person. Trust me the arches look fantastic in person)
I like the materials, but it looks extremely easy to knock over!
A touch of eclectic MCM style.
The shiney brackets appear good quality & look clean flash against the shelf & wall. 90% angle The brackets & glossy white table contrast against the chocolate painted wall. A humble elegance with a masculine quality to it.
Pine paneled wall, painted Navy Blue with White pinstripeing.
A "well traveled" appeal.
Mural wallpaper
Gold looks great against black!
I love the fabric on the settee.
I like the fanned out sides on this settee.
Cozy & fresh, bright pops of color. It looks like sleeping in a little crisp library! :)
The colorful chandelier & the bird wall paper on the fireplace wall are quirky yet admirable.
Clean & earthy fun funky happy vibe with touches of glamour.
The colors, windows & little tree in the corner
Chandelier, night shiny gold & the beautiful blue paint on the walls.
Super duper love this decoration style. Very fun
Close up of shelves.
Opened up for airflow & light. The middle section would be great as a double room flat screen wall.
A view from the inside of the bedroom on the other side of the wall.
Moveable wall panels. Looks really fun to switch up the look of the wall art. A great way to wall off a room in a loft apartment & use a vertical slice of rotating book wall to as a door.
I bothers me that this is so close to a bed & high up enough to fall on you! Also it's too high up to take the motorcycle out for a ride. Definite huge YES to motorcycles in the house as long as you can use it for a good time & not just art.
Unique leather cushion headboard. The 2nd time I looked at it, seems to recall a giant baseball glove.
Color & design of ottomans & the color of the leather chair in the back corner. The chandelier is also interesting & the one recommended by a lighting company in the comments of this picture, look even better!
The mix of traditional, such as the little nitch with player details on the upper corners & midcentury furniture.
An up close picture of that plaster ceiling.
Geometrical floral design on ceiling, made of plaster!
Loads of color & the lamps. I love the design the lamps leave on the walls.
The wood work & glossy black beams. Although the black beams do hide the wood work detail. Athought it could be a bad fuzzy picture!!!
Boho looking hammock.
Cozy cave bedroom. Maybe this is a small house or a loft? Notice the office & lounge areas in front of the bed.
A little library in your room
